This policy explains what data crashproven.com collects, why, and what control you have over it. Plain language, no boilerplate padding.
What We Collect
Analytics data. We run self-hosted analytics on our own server rather than a third-party advertising platform. It records pages viewed, approximate location at country level, device type, referring site and interactions such as opening a demo or clicking an operator link. IP addresses are anonymised before storage — the final segment is discarded, so the data cannot be traced back to an individual connection.
Regional detection. Your approximate country is determined from your IP address to show operators available where you are — a South African visitor sees locally licensed options, a US visitor sees sweepstakes alternatives. This happens on our server, the result is a country grouping rather than a precise location, and it isn’t stored against an identity.
What we don’t collect. We have no user accounts, so we don’t hold names, email addresses, payment details or gambling activity. We don’t sell data to anyone, and we don’t run third-party advertising trackers.
Cookies
Our analytics is configured to work without identifying cookies. Operators you visit through our links set their own cookies under their own policies — those are governed by the operator, and their privacy policy applies once you leave this site.
Affiliate Links
When you click an operator link, we pass a click identifier so the operator can credit the referral. That identifier is random and not linked to any personal information we hold, because we hold none. What the operator collects after you arrive is covered by their policy, not ours.
Your Rights
Under GDPR, POPIA and comparable regimes you can request access to data relating to you, ask for its deletion, or object to processing. Because our analytics is anonymised at collection, we usually cannot link stored data to a specific person — which is itself the protection. Requests go to privacy@crashproven.com.
Data Retention and Security
Anonymised analytics are retained for up to 26 months, then deleted. The site runs over HTTPS, and analytics data is stored on infrastructure we control rather than shared with an advertising network.
Children
This site is for adults aged 18 and over. We don’t knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has interacted with this site, contact us and we’ll remove any associated records.
