This page documents how content on Crashproven is produced, verified and updated. It exists so readers can judge our process rather than take our conclusions on trust.
How a Game Page Gets Made
- Play it. Every game is played in demo mode first, then with real money at a licensed operator. No page is written from a provider’s press release alone.
- Source the numbers. RTP, maximum win and volatility come from the provider’s published specification. Where operators deploy configurable RTP — JetX is the clearest example — we say so and give the range rather than the flattering figure.
- Compute what’s computable. For games with calculable odds we derive the probabilities from the rules and publish the table. The Mines survival odds and Dragon Tower difficulty table are worked out this way, not copied.
- Verify fairness claims. Where a game is provably fair, we check a round ourselves rather than repeating the label.
- Review. A second person checks the figures against the sources before publication.
Sourcing Rules
- Provider specifications outrank operator marketing. If a casino’s lobby claims a different RTP than the studio publishes, the discrepancy goes in the page.
- Licence numbers are cited where they matter for legality — as on our Hollywoodbets and Betway pages.
- Uncertainty is stated. “Varies by operator” and “we could not verify this” are acceptable answers. Inventing a number is not.
- No scraping of competitor claims. If we can’t trace a figure to a primary source or our own testing, it doesn’t get published.
What We Refuse to Publish
No strategy is presented as beating the house edge, because none does. No prediction tool, signal service or “hack” is ever recommended — we document how they work as scams instead. No page implies gambling is a way to make money. No content targets anyone under 18.
Commercial Relationships
We earn affiliate commission when readers register with operators through our links. This is disclosed on the pages carrying those links and explained in full on our about page. Commission never determines a rating, a ranking position or a published figure. Operators cannot buy placement, review changes or the removal of criticism.
Updates and Corrections
Game pages are reviewed when the underlying facts change — a provider revises an RTP, an operator adds or drops a title, a regulator changes availability. Pages carry a visible last-updated date reflecting real content changes, not automated timestamp refreshes.
Corrections are made promptly when an error is confirmed, and substantive corrections are noted on the page rather than quietly edited out. To report one, use the contact page.
